Overview
Windshell Naradhiwas is the most unique residential building in Bangkok. Completed in 2019 by YLP, it is not a "condo" in the traditional sense. It sells "Bare Shell Duplexes"—massive, empty concrete canvasses starting at 450 sqm with 7-meter ceilings.
With only 36 units, it is essentially a stack of vertical mansions. Residents buy the shell and hire their own architects to design the interior from scratch. It is famous for its brutalist architecture, massive cross-ventilation fins, and being ultra-pet-friendly.
Developer
YLP (the family behind the Windshell) created this as a passion project. They wanted to solve the problem of "condo living feeling small." By offering massive shells, they allow owners to build what feels like a landed house in the sky.
